Nadine Dennis studied Fine Art at York University, the Ontario College of Art (prior to becoming OCAD University), and the Toronto School of Art. She works primarily in acrylic and watercolour, exploring a variety of media and surfaces to create luminous colour, rich texture, and finely observed detail.

Inspired by the magic and majesty of nature, Nadine draws from time spent among trees, gardens, and coastal landscapes. The interplay of light and colour across delicate petals, organic forms, and lush environments informs much of her work. While rooted in realism, her paintings often incorporate elements of whimsy and quiet fantasy, inviting viewers into scenes that feel both familiar and imaginative.

Influences such as Georgia O’Keeffe, along with the elegance and stylization of the Art Deco period, have helped shape her visual language. The result is a body of work that celebrates nature’s beauty with sensitivity, vibrant colour, and a touch of enchantment.
