Susan Clark's artistic journey has been a lifelong exploration of creativity, commencing in her birthplace of Montreal and leading her along a transformative path to Ontario in her early twenties. Initially settling in the picturesque Brantford/Paris area, Susan later relocated to the vibrant community of Mississauga while she nurtured her growing family. Her artistic pursuits currently thrive in the scenic beauty of Madoc, Ontario.

With an unwavering passion for art, Susan has graced the Ontario art scene with her graphic design and painting talents for over three and a half decades. Her artistic odyssey has seen her actively exhibit her work in numerous prestigious venues throughout the province.
​
In 2003, Susan achieved the esteemed status of becoming a member of the Ontario Society of Artists (OSA) and was also honored as an elected member of the Canadian Society of Artists (SCA). In her role as an elected member of these esteemed organizations, Susan has played a pivotal role in organizing exhibitions that showcase the works of both established members and promising emerging artists.

Susan's artistic contributions have left an indelible mark on the vibrant art landscape of southwestern Ontario. Her participation in member and juried shows with renowned institutions such as the OSA, SCA, Colour and Form Society (CFS), Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM), Peel Art Gallery, Tom Thomson Memorial Art Gallery, Hamilton Art Gallery, and more, has enriched the cultural tapestry of the region.

Throughout her artistic journey, Susan has consistently showcased her boundless dedication to the creative arts. Her professional background includes roles as a graphic artist at Gould Outdoor Advertising/Pattison Outdoor and DeSerres Art Store. Simultaneously, she has nurtured and honed her own distinctive style in her personal work.

Beyond her artistic pursuits, Susan has shared her talents for philanthropic causes by generously donating works to various fundraisers benefiting institutions such as the Aird Gallery in Toronto and the Mississauga Art Gallery. Her artistry has found a cherished place in both private and public collections, including the prestigious Government of Ontario Art Collection.
